Such a thought-invoking, humorous play. It was so fricking funny but there was such a deep message about the selfishness of humanity and the means humans are willing to go to get what they want. Had some really good horror elements too tbh. The whole play was in a Chinese dialect, but subtitles were provided so I was able to enjoy it fine. The staging was a huge building in the middle that rotated, but the actors also pre-recorded a few short clips to serve as important scenes as well. There were two cameramen that showed additional perspectives occasionally throughout the show, but it really added some interesting perspectives and staging layers. The story-telling was probably the best part for me, as it was well-paced and allowed the actors to deliver thing really well. I lowkey need to experience that again, and I hope the production studio keeps putting out similar works.
