I got to see Smallpools again with the friend that got me into the band, and we saw them together around a year ago as well. It was just really exciting because they did my favorite song this tour (they didn’t last tour!) and I was just super pumped being there. I was also surprised to see one of the openers being an artist I had listened to around two years now! (Although, I didn’t recognize her until the very end of her set lol.) The vocals were great and it was so nice hearing some of my all time favorites again. Smallpools also gave this tour a very night-radio theme, and it was cool to hear them open and close their sets with sounds similar to changing sounds on a radio that played portions of many radio classics. Manifesting that they will tour again <3
