*spoiler alert!

I can’t believe I have been sleeping on this show because it’s so damn good. I only knew 3 songs before the musical and I didn’t know anything about the plot, but it was just absolutely stunning. The lighting went fucking crazy and it served as a huge part of the story-telling. The band was really small for how full the sound was, and the score was gorgeous. I think the vocals were definitely the most impressive part of the show, as both the male lead and the female lead had CRAZY vocals. There was a song where they were belting an A4 and an E5 and it was actually crazy. There was also not visible errors in anyone like it honestly felt like the vocals were perfect. I also really appreciated the plot, as I thought it was going to be a super cliche plot with the romance. They really painted Arnstein as a womanizer in the beginning, so I thought that questioning his loyalty was going to be the focus of the plot. However, I think the plot brings up a debate of dependency and boundaries between partners. The storytelling also criticizes gambling addictions in an artistic way. I was honestly just so shocked because it was so beautiful. Loved it so much!
