I will not lie, the reason this show is lower on the rankings may also have to do with the fact that my two favorite Chinese musical actors are both in it, so my expectations were pretty high going into it. They both did a great job, especially for one of them being really sick. The third actor that I did not know of previously did really great as well. The main disappointment to the musical was the plot. It was very unclear, and the constant transition to flashbacks did not seem very effective at all. It was kind of disappointing to see such good talent wasted in a muddy plot, but just being able to hear them sing was already imcredible.
