day 6 ; zombie // day6

Of course I had to do my favorite artist of all time on the sixth day! Zombie was released right at the beginning of COVID, and it was the last album they released before a one-year break compared to releasing new music once every few months. The lyrics are incredibly personal and realistic, and it spoke to a lot of people during the lockdown of the pandemic. I remember being a junior in high school when I first listened to this album and just feeling incredibly comforted; it was as if they read my mind perfectly and put it into a song. It’s honestly really nice to know that you are not the only person feeling this way while navigating the craziness in life, amd this song was able to reassure everyone that they are not alone.
