no. 35 - 唐人街探案

I think this is probably the worst score I have ever heard LMAO. The movie was really famous in China and I did enjoy it, but the musical was a little different and a lot of these changes lowkey ruined the plot. Some of the placement and order of things surprised me, especially the random song for the antagonist at the end that was very different from their entire motivation for the entire show. The staging was awesome though, as they just rotated the building in the middle to transition to different scenes. The best part was at the very end, when everyone was getting murdered lmao. There was also a part of the stage in the front that rose up to show an underground area which was really nice. I also got to see two actors I really like, especially one of them like BRUH I was freaking out. The lead was also a really good singer even if the score wasn’t crazy.
